‘Think and Grow Rich’ by Napoleon Hill

This is a book that I would say all successful people have read, and without doubt, helped them on their road to success.

‘Whatever your mind can conceive and believe it can achieve.’

This famous quote from ‘Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill’ is one my children have heard me say to them all their lives, and I am extremely proud to say that they live by this belief, and are becoming very successful young men.

Lately around the social networking loop, there has been article after article on focus, desire, dream, goal and wealth creation through internet marketing and social networking.

Even the word ‘Web 2.0′ has everyone buzzing and you can almost feel the excitement developing for 2008. Whenever I hear about having a desire or focusing on your goals I can’t help but think of Napoleon’s famous quote.

Some of us have huge dreams, while others are happy with small dreams. If financial freedom is your goal then your desire has to be a ‘Burning Desire To Win.’

You have to want something so bad that it drives you forward every moment. Not a desire that is temporarily ‘fixed’ but requires a little fuel again later. It has to be a never ending desire!

I see in my two young men, ‘burning desires.’ I also see that they know they can achieve that desire if they believe it strongly enough. They know anything is possible and have had successes already.

If only we were all taught at birth these success principles and positive life goals. Wouldn’t it make a difference to so many of our belief systems.

The challenge for us as adults who were possibly poorly or negatively programmed in our own formative years is to not allow our remaining years to be defined by this, but to recognize our own worth and potential and to consistently work toward achieving our goals and desires. We should all ‘Think and Grow Rich.’
